We have been working with partners in Bridgend County Borough Council to identify themes and priorities for action to regenerate the seaside resort of Porthcawl. The Action Plan, which places resort revitalisation and commercial opportunity at its heart, will influence and build on the substantial physical development planned in the town over the coming years, and help Porthcawl to prosper once again as a visitor destination.
Outcome
Key to this process has been the engagement and involvement of partners, stakeholders and the local community to identify actions to address current and future regeneration needs and opportunities.“The Action Plan provides a robust analysis of issues and future opportunities leading to an ambitious framework and programme to transform the town.”
