Our work included

We led a team to assess and develop the concept of establishing a physical ‘hub’ to inspire young people about science, technology, engineering and maths (the STEM subjects) combined with a visitor‐based attraction to contribute and add value to the tourism offer in coastal Hartlepool.

Our work included defining the concept, selecting an appropriate site, scoping the size and scale of the centre, visitor and financial projections and recommendations on governance and management arrangements.

Outcome

Our Business Plan supported a major application for funding from the Coastal Communities Fund to drive forward the project.
